More about Phnom Penh Food Tours...

HOW LONG DO THE TOURS LAST? WHEN AND WHERE DO THEY START?

Our Phnom Penh food tours start every day at 8 a.m. and are over before noon. We will meet you at 7:55 a.m. in front of the main Post Office on Street 13.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Our tours cost $75 USD per person. The price of the tour includes all of your food, drinks, and transportation during the tour. If you are a solo traveler, we ask that you pay a $30 solo supplement.  If others book the same tour, we will refund you this amount on the day of your tour. We're also happy to help you arrange to join a tour with other guests, if you prefer.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN A TOUR ACCOMMODATE? CAN I DO A PRIVATE TOUR?

In order to provide a truly personal in-depth experience, we usually limit our tours to small groups of up to six people. For an additional fee, we can give you an entirely private tour, by prior arrangement. We can also organize private tours for larger groups.

CAN KIDS GO ON A TOUR?

As long as they are comfortable with a little bit of walking, yes! The cost for kids 5 to 11 is $45. If there are children in your group please include a note in the questionnaire with their ages and anything else you think we should know.

IS CAMBODIAN FOOD SAFE?

Phnom Penh Food Tours only takes guests to vendors and restaurants that we visit often and in whose hygiene standards we have full confidence. It's true that many travelers get an upset stomach when they first come to Cambodia, but you're just as likely to experience this after dining at a fancy hotel as at a street-food stall. We recommend washing your hands regularly during your visit to Cambodia and taking all ordinary precautions to avoid becoming ill. But if you make the right choices—and on our tours we do—there's no reason to deny yourself the pleasures of eating like a local while you're in the Kingdom of Wonder.

CAN YOU ARRANGE A VEGETARIAN OR PESCATARIAN (FISH-ONLY) TOUR? WHAT ABOUT A TOUR FOR THOSE WHO EAT GLUTEN-FREE? OR A RED MEAT OR PORK-FREE TOUR? OR A TOUR FOR THOSE WITH ALLERGIES?

We are happy to accommodate vegetarians, and for those who eat fish or fish sauce, there’s a much wider range of options. It’s also possible to organize a gluten-free tour or a tour without pork, or red meat. Please let us know in advance about your dietary requirements and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

However, peanut allergies and certain other food allergies may not be compatible with a food tour in Cambodia due to the risk of cross-contamination, and we cannot assume any responsibility for those with severe allergies. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before making a booking.

HOW DO I BOOK?

We keep our tours small, so please book well in advance if you'd like to tour on a particular day. Please visit our booking page to reserve and pay for your tour using a credit card. If you're in Cambodia, we also accept payment WING.
